Resize, reset and detach volumes

Manage a service's persistent volume without redeploying or deleting the service.

Every service now has a Storage section in its settings with three actions:

  • Grow the volume online. The new size takes effect immediately and is billed from that moment.
  • Reset data stops the service, wipes the volume and starts it again with an empty disk.
  • Detach volume deletes the volume and its data, stops storage billing, and redeploys the live image without the mount.

Reset and detach ask you to type the service name to confirm.
