# Resize, reset and detach volumes

Manage a service's persistent volume without redeploying or deleting the service.

Every service now has a **Storage** section in its settings with three actions:

- **Grow** the volume online. The new size takes effect immediately and is billed from that moment.
- **Reset data** stops the service, wipes the volume and starts it again with an empty disk.
- **Detach volume** deletes the volume and its data, stops storage billing, and redeploys the live image without the mount.

Reset and detach ask you to type the service name to confirm.
