Manage Google and GitHub sign-in from your profile
Connect or disconnect sign-in providers from your profile, with improved verified-email matching and provider avatars.
Your profile now has a Sign-in methods card for email and password, Google and GitHub. Connect a provider through its authorization flow, or disconnect an existing provider when another sign-in method remains available.
Keep the same account
Connecting a provider requires a matching account email. GitHub matching now considers the provider’s verified email addresses, so a matching verified secondary address can be used even when it is not the primary GitHub email.
Recognizable profile pictures
Connected accounts use the Google profile picture when available, otherwise the GitHub picture. Disconnecting a provider keeps the current photo.
Open your profile to review your sign-in methods. The last available method cannot be disconnected from the card.
