Switch, copy and promote environments
Every project has its own production, custom and preview environments, with a switcher in the header and simpler dialogs for new services.
The project header now reads Project / environment, with a dropdown for each. Switch environment, duplicate the current one, start an empty one or delete it without leaving the board. The selected environment is part of the URL, so a link opens the same view for a teammate.
Environments are colored at a glance: green for production, amber for qa, staging and dev, and gray for the rest. The projects list shows one card per project, with its environments as badges.
Copy from any environment
A new environment can copy any existing one, not only production, or start empty. Copies keep track of where each service came from, so promoting a staging environment still updates the right production services. PR previews are now preview environments of their project instead of separate projects.
Simpler dialogs for new services
New service opens a menu that picks the source first. The form that follows asks for what you want to deploy, then a name, and folds every setting with a default into a section with a one-line summary. Database and Beacon dialogs use the same compact pickers, and a self-hosted database volume starts at 1 GB.
Deleting a project removes its services and environments in one step. Linked managed databases and Beacon projects are only unlinked.
