Persistent volumes for services
Attach a disk to a service so its data survives redeploys and rollbacks.
Services can now keep data on a persistent volume. Set a mount path and a size when you create a service, and anything written there is kept across redeploys, rollbacks and restarts.
A few things to know:
- A service with a volume runs a single replica, because only one instance can write to the disk at a time.
- Volumes can grow, but they can’t shrink.
- Volume storage is billed per GiB per month.
