## Build with Unbroker

- **A dedicated Next.js recipe:** Build and run your Next.js application as a server with its production scripts.
- **API and database services:** Manage the application alongside APIs, database nodes and background workers.
- **Review before release:** Use GitHub pull request previews on Pro to inspect changes in an isolated environment.

## Deploy a Next.js server

A Next.js application often becomes more than a frontend: it needs authenticated routes, a database, background jobs and operational visibility. Unbroker lets you bring those pieces into the same platform.

Select the Next.js preset, connect your repository and configure the build and start scripts. Your application runs as a server, with a public URL and a deployment history you can inspect.

## Configure the server and database

### Start with the Next.js server

Use the server for request-time rendering and the application routes your project already provides. You retain control over the Next.js configuration and dependencies.

### Add database and worker services

Connect PostgreSQL for records, move asynchronous processing into a worker, or add a separate API when the product calls for it. Each service has its own configuration and lifecycle while remaining visible in the project.

## Inspect logs and resource metrics

Unbroker provides build output and runtime logs so you can distinguish a compilation failure from an application error. On Pro, inspect resource metrics, configure capacity and preview GitHub pull requests before changing the production service.

You can operate the same resources from Cloud or through ubctl. The Unbroker agent skill brings deployment and diagnosis tasks into your coding environment.

## Deployment tutorial

Our tutorial covers production scripts, public build variables, runtime secrets and verification of dynamic routes. It also explains the difference between a running Next.js server and a static export, so you choose the right deployment shape for your application.

## Choose your plan

The Next.js framework recipe requires Pro. Configure capacity for the server and account for database, storage and build usage as you add services.
