## Build with Unbroker

- **A familiar Node.js runtime:** Use the Node.js preset for your Fastify application and its production start script.
- **Logs beside your releases:** Inspect structured application output alongside the service's deployment history.
- **Database and worker services:** Add PostgreSQL, workers and realtime features as your API grows.

## Deploy Fastify from Git

Fastify gives you a focused HTTP server with explicit application behavior. Unbroker gives that server a deployment workflow: connect its repository, build the application and follow the running revision in Cloud.

You keep control of the routes, plugins, validation and logging strategy. Unbroker provides the place to configure the service, deploy it and inspect its operation.

## Connect the services your API needs

### PostgreSQL for durable records

Choose a private Apps database node for project-level control or a provider-managed cluster for managed host and cluster operations. Configure the API's connection through runtime variables.

### Workers for asynchronous work

On Pro, add a worker for processing that should run outside request handling. It gets its own lifecycle and logs while staying in the same project as the API.

## Release from Cloud or your coding environment

Use Cloud to inspect the project and deployment state. With ubctl and the Unbroker skill, your coding agent can also inspect runtime logs, trigger an authorized deployment and wait for the result.

Pro adds resource metrics, configurable capacity and GitHub pull request previews.

## Deployment tutorial

Follow the tutorial for a minimal server with structured logging, a health route and graceful shutdown. It explains the host and port settings needed in a container and how to verify the deployed API before sending it traffic.

## Choose your plan

Eligible managed Node.js services can start on Free. Pro unlocks private repository credentials, production domains, resource metrics and CLI access.
