Databases you create in a project stay private to it, and now you can still reach them from your laptop. Open the service's settings and use **External connection** to get a ready-to-run tunnel command. Your client then connects to `127.0.0.1` with the host, port and credentials the dashboard shows, in TablePlus or any similar tool.

Tunnels use short-lived authenticated tickets and only listen on your own machine.

```bash
ubctl apps databases tunnel <serviceId> --port 5432
```
