# Deploy a static site by drag and drop

Drop a folder of HTML, CSS and JavaScript into the dashboard and it goes live without a repository.

Not every site needs a Git repository. When you add a service, choose **Upload files** and drag a folder of static files into the dropzone, or click to browse. Files are compressed in your browser, uploaded with a progress bar and served as they are.

- Uploads can be up to 50 MB.
- To ship a new version, upload a new set of files. Each upload is a new deployment, so it shows up in history and can be rolled back like any other.

Great for landing pages, documentation exports and prototypes.
