A project is now more than a list of services: it is a connected set you can deploy as a whole.

- **Shared variables:** set a variable once at the project level and every service inherits it. A service variable with the same key still wins.
- **Service references:** point a variable at another service's URL, host or port, or reuse another service's variable instead of pasting a password twice. References resolve at deploy time.
- **Deploy all:** deploy every service in a project in dependency order. If one service fails, only the services that depend on it are skipped.
- **Prebuilt images:** run a service straight from a container image, with no build step.

The **Variables** tab was also redesigned, with search and a **New Variable** button.
